Here are four immediate steps we, as a community, can take to defund the police and re-envison Public Safety

Remove the police from
Homeless outreach, schools, mental health, domestic violence & drug/overdose response

Redirect funds to the community
Housing providers, unarmed counselors, mental health professionals, outreach programs, substance counselors

Reduce police department size and scope
Remove units that target "quality of life" offences and protestors. Enact budget & hiring freezes. Disarm, decommission and dismiss.

Invest in community base resources
